Summer RV Show Scheduled at Flying Flags

We are excited to announce that Flying Flags will feature an RV Show & Sale this summer. Trailer Hitch RV Center of Nipomo will showcase a variety of new trailers and 5th wheels including popular Heartland, Forrest River and Keystones. "We have specially ordered models for this show that are perfect for RVers that might trade up to a new unit, or those who are ready for their first RV" says Michael Howard of the Trailer Hitch RV Center. He goes on to say that "with 40 RV's displayed there really will be something for everyone, from tiny mini-lites to exquisite luxury 5th wheels". The show will be staffed 6 days a week by knowledgeable show managers can help customers will all aspects of their purchase including trades & financing.

Dan Baumann, General Manager at Flying Flags is excited about this partnership saying that "this type of a show is a perfect fit for our resort. It gives our guests the opportunity to explore new RV models in a setting that is more like a camping activity rather than a pressure sales situation at a dealership. Vintners Festival Date Announced

Solvang Julefest Weekend

Solvang JULEFEST TREE LIGHTING CEREMONY 5PM Friday, Solvang Park. This year's theme--the Village of Music! Alan Satchwell will once again be hosting the annual tree lighting and street singing. The�JULEFEST PARADE begins at 11:00am Saturday featuring�local groups, bands and the arrival of Santa & Mrs. Claus; who will be in Solvang Park following the parade.

Groups & Clubs: MAKE YOUR OWN OFFER this fall/winter at Flying Flags!

We know this has been a tough year for RV Groups to get their members enthused for travel. But we have just the way to get your RVs out of storage and on the road. Talk it over with your members and find out what everyone can afford. Then give us a call and make your offer. It's that simple. Depending on the size of your group, and our availability for that time we will roll up our sleeves and make it work for you! And we are more than just sites. . . we have catering options, outdoor movies, ice cream sundaes, wine tours and clubhouses that can be included. This is your opportunity to have a special Christmas rally and visit Solvang during Winterfest. Or join us in October for the many harvest celebrations at local wineries. Or just get together in January to rest up after the holidays. We will accept offers for October 2009 March 2010.
A few things keep in mind. For best results keep your offer fair for both of us. Try to target dates where we are not likely to be too busy so we can afford to work with you. December/January are perfect months to make a great deal. Thanksgiving and other event dates are obviously not as good. Just give us a call and let our group coordinator help find the perfect balance of rates & dates for your special group together. This is your chance to experience our newly renovated resort with wider sites on pads with patios, fitness center, and fresh clubhouses at a great rate!
