GREAT weather projected for Century Bike Ride!!!

<P>This just in....we have PERFECT weather projected for the 2010 Century Bike ride next weekend (March 13).  Deep blue sunny skies and temparatures in the upper 60's.  The hills are alive with greenery and flowers after this winter's rain.  Let's kick off spring in the valley.  (We still have a few Basic sites left so make your reservations now!)</P>

We are excited to announce that Flying Flags has been selected as one of Woodall's TOP RATED CAMPGROUNDS IN THE U.S. for 2010 after receiving their highest dual 5-W rating! Those who have enjoyed us since the completion of our $1.4M renovation already know how great our facilities are. If you haven’t visited our resort in a while this is the perfect time! Our newly renovated sites are wider, are on pads with patios and new landscaping.

Vintners Festival Date Announced

The Santa Barbara County Vintner's Association has announced this year's Spring Vintner's Festival will be held on Saturday April 17th from 1 to 4 pm. That weekend will also be a Vintner's pass weekend with free tastings at most area wineries all weekend long for pass holders. Solvang Julefest Weekend

Solvang JULEFEST TREE LIGHTING CEREMONY 5PM Friday, Solvang Park. This year's theme--the Village of Music! Alan Satchwell will once again be hosting the annual tree lighting and street singing. The JULEFEST PARADE begins at 11:00am Saturday featuring local groups, bands and the arrival of Santa & Mrs. Claus; who will be in Solvang Park following the parade.

Groups & Clubs: MAKE YOUR OWN OFFER this fall/winter at Flying Flags!

We know this has been a tough year for RV Groups to get their members enthused for travel. But we have just the way to get your RVs out of storage and on the road. Talk it over with your members and find out what everyone can afford. Then give us a call and make your offer. It's that simple. Depending on the size of your group, and our availability for that time we will roll up our sleeves and make it work for you! And we are more than just sites. . . we have catering options, outdoor movies, ice cream sundaes, wine tours and clubhouses that can be included. This is your opportunity to have a special Christmas rally and visit Solvang during Winterfest. Or join us in October for the many harvest celebrations at local wineries. Or just get together in January to rest up after the holidays. We will accept offers for October 2009 March 2010. <br> A few things keep in mind. For best results keep your offer fair for both of us. Try to target dates where we are not likely to be too busy so we can afford to work with you. December/January are perfect months to make a great deal. Thanksgiving and other event dates are obviously not as good. Just give us a call and let our group coordinator help find the perfect balance of rates & dates for your special group together.
